This video is a cadaveric surgical technique demonstration of the prodisc® C Vivo Cervical Total Disc Replacement System—developed in conjunction with the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) and performed by Dr. Philip Louie, Spine Surgeon and Medical Director of Research and Academics at the Center for Neurosciences and Spine, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, in Tacoma, WA.
The video features Dr. Louie performing the procedure on a cadaver where he demonstrates the removal of a degenerated cervical disc and replacement of this disc with prodisc C Vivo, a total disc replacement for motion preservation and relief of pain in the cervical spine, or neck.
