Q: What is Centinel Spine's Message on COVID-19?
Centinel Spine places above all else, the safety and well-being of our employees, healthcare partners, patients and the communities we serve. At the same time, we are working to find ways within those guidelines to minimize the disruption to our product distribution and supply chain while continuously monitoring any new developments, updates, or recommendations to provide up-to-date information to our internal and external stakeholders.
Q: What is the current policy related to supporting the surgical procedures using Centinel Spine product?
Centinel Spine continues to operate its West Chester headquarters with mission critical individuals in order to maintain distribution of needed product to surgeons and patients. We continue to maintain surgical procedure support coverage with Centinel Spine partners or virtually support coverage when local healthcare policy prevents entrance to medical facilities.
Q: Are there any work restrictions related to Centinel Spine employees?
Centinel Spine is currently limiting employees in our West Chester office to only those serving mission critical roles.
Q: Where are your products manufactured/produced and how are they sterilized?
The majority of Centinel Spine products are manufactured in the U.S. with a small number of products manufactured in Taiwan. All Centinel Spine product is packaged and sterilized in one of two facilities, located in the U.S. or Switzerland. As a result, we do not expect any significant impact on our ability to supply products globally.
Q: How is shipping and warehousing being addressed at this time?
At this time, we continue to operate our global distribution centers with mission critical individuals in order to maintain distribution of needed product to surgeons and patients where and when they are needed. Our partners and customers will be immediately informed if any distribution disruptions occur.
Q: Do you expect any interruptions to the supply chain?
At this time, no supply chain disruptions are anticipated as we closely work with our manufacturing partners to ensure consistent delivery of Centinel Spine products. Our partners and customers will be immediately informed if supply chain changes occur.
Q: What other important activities are taking place to address the current COVID-19 situation?
Centinel Spine continues to review timely statements and information from the World Health Organization (WHO), The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), healthcare partners, and key industry leaders. Our policies will remain relevant to the ongoing situation and may be adjusted as the situation warrants.
